The Twain Shall MeetSydney pulled up to the mansion on her motorcycle. It was typical New England upstate architecture. Big. Stone. Almost like the estates of England. Pretentious. She threw a leg over the bike and stretched for a moment. Then, running her fingers through her hair and gently rubbing the feline ears that poked out -- they were sometimes irritated by the wind while traveling, she walked past the small pack of uniformed valet boys covertly playing at dice between guests and tossed her keys to them.
